Indiana County Parks and Trails - owns and operates the Ghost Town Trail, the Hoodlebug Trail. A regional trail guide can also be found at this site which shows plans for eventually connecting the West Penn and Hoodlebug trails through Blairsville.

Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority - Includes information about the Path of the Flood Trail and Jim Mayer Riverswalk Trail in Johnstown PA.

The Great Allegheny Passage - is  a 150-mile system of biking and hiking trails connecting Cumberland, MD and Pittsburgh, PA.  A jewel in the crown of PA’s regional trail system.
 
Regional Trail Corporation - Information about the 5-Star Trail, the Westmoreland Heritage Trail, the Youghiogheny River Trail and more.

Roaring Run Watershed Association - near Apollo, Pennsylvania.  Includes both Rattling Run and Roaring Run Waterfalls, huge boulders and tree-covered hills. RRWA presently owns about 652 acres of land which is open to the public all year round and includes the Roaring Run Rail Trail and miles and miles of mountain biking trials. 

Butler Freeport Community Trail  - located in western Pennsylvania in southeastern Butler County. It parallels State Route 356 from the borough of Freeport, Armstrong County North West to the city of Butler. The completed 16 mile section has a smooth compacted crushed limestone base suitable for road bikes and passes through the towns of Laneville, Monroe, Sarver, Marwood, Great Belt and Herman.

Baker Trail - a 141-mile (226 kilometer) hiking and backpacking trail north of Pittsburgh PA, following forest paths, old jeep trails and dirt roads through woods, farmlands, along rivers and creeks.

Laurel Ridge Hiking Trail - a 70-mile, continuous footpath stretching atop the Laurel Ridge.  It winds from Ohiopyle, PA to Rt. 56, between Seward and Johnstown, PA.  The trail affords some great views of the twisting Youghigheny River, from high above Ohiopyle State Park, to the beautiful Conemaugh Valley, near Johnstown, PA. 

Armstrong Trail  - the Allegheny Valley Land Trust is developing this 52-mile trail along the Allegheny River in Armstrong County. The Butler to Freeport Community Trail runs northwest from the Allegheny River at Freeport.
